SP, Kissi Agyebeng Will Fail; He Can’t Prosecute Anyone Involved In Galamsey – Kennedy Agyapong

Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong says the newly nominated Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng will not be able to prosecute anybody involved in the galamsey menace.

According to him, the very people involved in galamsey are leading government officials and he wondered how Mr Agyebeng will be able to bring them to book.

Kissi Agyebeng and Kennedy Agyapong have had their own history, particularly, after the death of investigative journalist, Ahmed Suale.

While Kennedy Agyapong accused Anas Aremeyaw Anas of killing the journalist, Kissi Agyebeng, lawyer for Anas slammed the MP saying he rather exposed Suale’s picture to the public.

However, Kennedy Agyapong does not believe Kissi Agyebeng will succeed in prosecuting government officials involved in galamsey.

“You guys claim you are going for a Special Prosecutor. I’m pointing a finger at you, the four are pointing towards the NPP, they can’t prosecute anyone. It’s an adage.”
