Just In: Ghana Police Raid LGBTQI Office In Accra After Traditional Authorities Threatened To Burn The Place

Personnel from National Security, including the Ghana Police have invaded the office of the LGBTQI in Accra, GhanaFeed has learned.

This follows a threat by traditional authorities to burn the office down together with whatever is inside if no step is taken to close down the facility.

The issue of LGBTQI has become a topical issue in Ghana after it emerged that an office had been set up in the country despite the fact that the laws of the country did not support such a practice.

In a Tweet, the LGBTQI rights Ghana called on the US embassy, human rights groups and other allies to come to their aid as their safety was under threat.
