US Embassy Assures Ghanaian LGBTQI Of Full Support Despite Sam George Agenda

The US Embassy in Ghana has thrown their support behind the LGBTQI community in light of the recent persecution against them after some MPs laid a private members bill in parliament seeking to criminalize the practice and advocacy of LGBTQI.

The embassy hoisted the LGBTQI pride flag beneath the United States flag as they marked the past and present struggle for recognition of LGBTQI rights.

The US ambassador to Ghana is also reported to have held a closed door meeting with top Ghanaian LGBTQI advocates.

Ambassador Sullivan is reported to have encouraged the advocates to persist with their advocacy, while offering the full support of the United States.
