The judge presiding over the contempt case involving Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong has given a very bold assurance that no one can bend him as far as a fair trial is concerned.

According to Justice Amos Wuntah Wuni, he has worked hard to earn his position and reputation thus will not allow any form of injustices.

Justice Wuntah made the comments after his handling of the trial was questioned by lawyers for Ken Agyapong.

Lawyers for the Assin Central MP had raised concerns about how the trial was assuming a political twist, with some politicians commenting on the case, as well as the extensive media focus on the trial.

However, in response, Justice Wuni insisted that he was doing the Lord’s work, which meant that his decision will not be influenced by issues out of his jurisdiction.
