PURC Investigation Confirms That Indeed Asantehene’s Gadgets Were Destroyed By Power Outages – Otumfuor To Be Compensated

The Public Relations Officer of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has confirmed on Citi News that his outfit has completed investigations concerning the said destruction of the Asantehene’s electronic appliances and gadgets as a result of the erratic power situation in the Ashanti Region.

According to him, the commission is taking steps to compensate the Overlord of Asanteman after verifying his claims.

Otumfuor Osei Tutu II revealed that the recent erratic power supply in the Ashanti Region had resulted in the destruction of some of his appliances.

The respected traditional ruler made this remark when he received a delegation of engineers and technocrats from the Energy sector led by the Sector Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
