NDC Demo: Mahama Was Engaged In Other Important Matters – Sam George Explains 2020 Flagbearer’s Absence

Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George has given reason as to why the 2020 National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama failed to show up at the party’s ‘march for justice’.

Speaking to Citi FM he said the former president was engaged in other matters that needed his attention.

He however added that the demonstration would not have been successful without his support behind the scenes.

The NDC marched from the Accra Mall to Jubilee house and then finally to Parliament to present a petition.

The party explained that the main motive of the protest was to wake the President up from his slumber and fix the country.
