Managers of Ghana’s Economy Are Focused On Breaking The 8 – Dr Omane Boamah

Former Communications Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah says managers of Ghana’s economy are more focused on winning the next elections than addressing the needs of the people.

In a post he said the people responsible for the economy have given up and are fully committed to breaking the 8 in 2024.

“The managers of this economy gave up long ago.Their interest is to break the 8 but not to address your needs.”

The Ghana cedis continues to struggle against other currencies in recent times; something that is affecting businesses adversely.

The Bank Of Ghana has already instituted some measures to address the issue by banning the opening of new dollar accounts. The BOG says more measures will be put in place in the coming days.
