Konadu Agyeman Rawlings Founded NDC – Party Stalwart Reveals

A staunch member of the NDC has shockingly revealed that the formation of the now popular and Ghana’s biggest opposition political party owes much to former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.

According to Mr. Allotey Jacobs, Mrs. Rawlings was the brains behind the foundation of the NDC.

He revealed that even the design of the party’s current logo and choice of colours was the idea of the former First Lady while recounting how pivotal she was in bringing NDC into the light.

Allotey Jacobs however disclosed on Asempa FM’s Eko Sii Sen Show that, it was at a Conference in the Western Region, around the late 1990s that leaders of the party resolved to make former President Rawlings, the founding Father.

He also expressed disappointment that the current NDC has been left in the hands of some babies with sharp teeth who are only specialized in insulting and discrediting the suffering and toils of veteran party faithfuls.

The “Educated Fisherman” called on former President Rawlings to salvage his party from these people he described as “cabals.”
