I Trust Bawumia’s Integrity When It Comes To Corruption – MFWA Boss Sulemana Braimah

Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa(MFWA) Sulemana Braimah has said that he trusts in the integrity of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia when it comes to matters of corruption.

The MFWA boss said this on Joy FM Newsfile when he was reacting to issues emanating from the recent Galamsey Economy documentary by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Mr. Braimah narrated that he is aware that the Vice President is well noted even within his own party as someone who doesn’t encourage making money from questionable sources as a means of gathering campaign funds.

According to him, even though he supports the idea that questions need to be asked about how the Vice President would raise money for his campaigns, he has full confidence in the Second Gentleman’s integrity.

“I also hold the view that on the basis of what I have heard from people, I’ll want to trust the integrity of the Vice President when it comes to matters of corruption. In fact, I have on several occasions interacted with persons within the NPP who have said that one of the biggest challenges for the Vice President in terms of this presidential or flagbearership race would be the opinion people have of him that he is quite stingy and that he doesn’t give,” he said.
