Funeral of 90-year-old woman beaten to death to be held today

Family of Akua Denteh, who was lynched for being a witch will today, August 5, 2020 held her final funeral rite.

Speaking on Agoo FM, her daughter whose name is given as Zinabu Mahama said her mother’s funeral rites will be held on August 5.

The 90-year-old died at the cruel hands of a self-styled priestess.

Her death gained national recognition after a video of the women subjecting her to torture went viral on social media.
