The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joseph Osei Wusu, largely, known as Joe Wise has said government is getting positive feedback from the Ghanaian people following numerous townhall meetings held across the country.

He said the e-levy sparked controversy because most Ghanaians misunderstood it, particularly, because it’s the first time such move has ever been initiated by a government.

According to him the Finance minister is taking time to explain to the Ghanaian people the benefits of supporting the bill.

He said governnance has changed and government is therefore committed to engaging the people before rolling out policies.
