Bridget Otoo Slams ‘Embarrassing’ EC For Disagreeing With Portions Of EU EOM Report On 2020 Polls

Bridget Otoo, media personality and activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has taken a swipe at the Electoral Commission for their stance on the European Union Observer Mission report on the 2020 elections.

This comes after the EC in a post on their social media page expressed disagreement with portions of the EU EOM report on the elections.

“The Electoral Commission thanks the EU EOM for its report on the 2020 General Elections. While the Commission appreciates the overall feedback and ranking, it does not agree with some aspects of the report.”

However, Mrs Otoo in a reaction wondered how the commission feels it organized a flawless election despite some violence and deaths which occurred. To her, the EC has no right to say it disagreees with the report.

She said “Defensive mode! I’ve never seen an EC so embarrassing. You are looking for praises because you think it was flawless? An election that resulted in deaths!!!!!!”
