SP Nominee Kissi Agyebeng Is A Known NPP Member – Alhaji Sani

Alhaji Mohammed Sani, a founding member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the nominated Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng is a known New Patriotic Party (NPP) member.

According to him, the SP’s affiliation with the ruling government will obviously make it easier for President Akufo-Addo to shield his appointees from prosecution if they’re engaged in illegalities.

Speaking on Oyerepa FM, he noted that all that Ghanaians can do is to keenly watch him and see how he goes about his duties once he’s approved by Parliament.

“He is an NPP, all we can do is to sit and watch him carefully and see how he is going to go about his duties,” he was quoted by mynewsgh.

“I’m not saying he would deal with only NPP members however, they are in power hence if he sees that there are people in previous government who need to be investigated that’s fine”, Alhaji Sani stated.
