Your Gov’t Only Getting Worse; Reshuffle Your Appointees – Dr. Yamoah To Prez Akufo-Addo

A Governance expert, Dr. Isaac Yamoah, has urged President Akufo-Addo to urgently reshuffle his appointees. If not the woes of the country is getting worse and that will affect the fortunes of the party.

Dr. Yamoah told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV that “reshuffling is a tool that you should always use as a leader and President, to realign all those within your governance structure- you should always realign your Ministers, deputies and appointees towards your duty of improving the livelihood of the populace in terms of your infrastructure, job creation, health, security, rural development, local governance among others and that is why I have always said that your excellency, if you don’t do reshuffle your problem is getting worse and worse”.

“If you don’t avail yourself to change, then change changes you. Something in the chain of progress is working against the presidency and President Akufo-Addo. Therefore he has to make changes in order to catch up with time”, he added.

He stressed that the President must make changes because all appointees within the governance structure were given an appointment with some enthusiasm and euphoria but this fades away with time hence the need for a reshuffle.

“Familiarity breeds contempt and some appointees are even forming gangs within the party and that if he(President Akufo-Addo) doesn’t reshuffle his appointees, NPP will go into opposition”, he concluded.
