Women Outnumber Men By About 400,000 As Ghana Statistical Service Release Official Census Figures

The official census figures released by the Ghana Statistical Service reveals that women outnumber men in the country by some 400,000.

The figures suggest that Ghana now has a population of about 30.8 million.

Out of this, 15.6 million are female, while 15.2 million are men.
