Widow Of Murdered Mfantseman MP Named NPP Parliamentary Candidate

Information available on our news desk suggest that the widow of the late MP for Mfantseman constituency, Mrs Ophelia Hayford has been ticked to replace her deceased husband ahead of the December 7 polls.

According to reports, there was a unanimous decision by the party to allow the deceased MP’s wife to replace her husband.

Sources has also disclosed that the Central Regional branch of the NPP has written officially to the Electoral Commission (EC) for an extension to allow them file her nomination.
