Sack Ofori Atta Or We Will Sabotage You – NPP MPs Warn Akufo-Addo

In a rather shocking twist to the current hardships facing the country, NPP MPs have threatened to sabotage government business if President Akufo-Addo fails to sack the finance minister.

According to the majority MPs, Mr. Ofori Atta’s continuous stay in office is an insult to the party’s mandate considering the fact that the management of the economy has totally broken down.

The call by the majority side comes after the minority MPs also filed a motion calling for the finance minister’s removal from office.

It is unclear if President Akufo-Addo will yield to the pressure after claiming last week that the finance minister remains one of his best performing ministers.
