The embattled Minister of State in charge of Finance at the Office of the President, Charles Adu Boahen is insisting that he has tendered in his resignation despite a communique from the Presidency indicating otherwise.
Even though the official communication from the Presidency stated that the Minister’s appointment has been terminated, he is also claiming that he has tendered in his resignation in order not to be a distraction to government.
Mr. Adu Boahen also insists that he is not guilty of the allegations being made against him and claims that indeed Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his team tried to entrap him somewhere in 2018.
Finally, Mr. Adu Boahen welcomed the investigation, which he insists would prove that he is not guilty of the allegations levelled against him.
