Wa Airport Will Become A Major Air Travel Hub Under My Tenure – Mahama

“We’ll continue to upgrade facilities at the Wa Airport so that it becomes a major destination for air travel in this country,” says NDC flagbearer, Mr. John Dramani Mahama.

The former president as part of his tour of the Upper West Region has assured the Chiefs and People of Wa that the Wa Airport will undergo a significant facelift should he assume power after the December 7 general election.

Mr Mahama made this promise when he paid a courtesy call on the Wa Naa at his Palace as part of his four-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region.

“We built the Wa Airstrip years ago and in our last administration, we upgraded it to the Wa Airport providing facilities for arrival and departure. I wish to assure the Wa Na that we’ll continue to upgrade facilities at the Wa Airport so that it becomes a major destination for air travel in this country,” he said in a plethora of promises made during his visit.
