For those who still believed Ghana will be better off in the hands of the Youth, yesterday presented a cruel awakening to reality.
What is the reality? The future may be even more bleak than the present.
As Ghanaians continue to lament the senseless overpricing of government projects, which give little value for money, the SRC of the University for Development Studies in Tamale gave a tangible reason why this is not peculiar to politicians only.
In a matter that continues to draw jaw-dropping shock even today, it has emerged that the UDS-SRC claims to have spent a massive 63,000 Ghana cedis on a simple matchbox-like bus stop which houses a simple metal bench.
Apparently, that simple bench cost over 18,000 Ghana cedis according to documents sighted on social media.
Following the revelation, many Ghanaians took to social media to express shock at the obvious thievery by student leaders.
