Shocking: 6 Ghanaian Students In Ukraine Refuse To Leave Romania For Ghana After Gov’t Paid Airfares

In a rather bizarre turn of events, some 6 Ghanaian students who were originally studying in Ukraine have refused to return to Ghana after Government managed to get them to safety in nearby Romania.

The six, part of a contingent of 17 Ghanaian students refused to evacuate to Ghana claiming that they are being forced to return to Ghana against their will.

This comes after government, through its representatives in Europe, managed to secure the safety of these students amiss Russia’s siege on Ukraine.

Ghana is the first country in Africa to be able to safely evacuate some of its citizens from the war-ravaged Ukraine.
