Security Personnel Travelling With President Akufo-Addo’s Convoy Involved In An Accident

About four soldiers part of the President’s convoy have sustained various injuries after the armoured vehicle they were travelling in was involved in an accident on Thursday morning in the Upper East Regional Capital, Bolgatanga.

The armoured vehicle, also called MOWAG is reported to have clashed with another police vehicle.

This is said to have happened while the President’s convoy was enroute to the Bolga Regional House of Chiefs on the Bolgatanga- Navrongo highway.

The injured soldiers have reportedly been taken to the Bolga Regional Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
