The Accra Regional Police Command has banned fellowers and sympathisers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from further demonstrations in Accra.

In a statement signed by the Command’s PRO, DSP Effia Tenge, the Police stated that the NDC should cease all protests from Sunday, December 20, 2020 to 10th January, 2021.

This is to make way for the Police to handle ongoing post-election and multifaceted security operations for the festive season and beyond.

The Police therefore urged followers and sympathizers of the NDC to abide by this directive.
