After the Ministry of Health launched a portal for them to register for recruitment a month before the presidential and legislative elections in 2020, over 12,000 Registered Nurse Assistants Clinicals (RNAC) and Registered Nurse Assistant Preventive (RNAP) are still at home.

Despite the fact that the ministry of finance had provided financial clearance for their employment, none of the members of the concerned RNAC/RNAPs group had been hired after six months, according to the concerned RNAC/RNAPs group.

“The leadership of the RNAC/RNAPs group 2019, as well as all members of the concerned RNAC/RNAPs group 2019, wishes to convey our disappointment with the delay in our postings process.” Our colleague degree and diploma nurses who all accessed the link on the same day have already started working while we still rot at home.”

As a result, the association challenged government officials’ claims that the entire 2019 batch of nurses and midwives had been posted.

He claims that members of the gang have been at home for three years, causing them immense pain.

“Recent engagement with the Ministry on 11th April, 2022 revealed our data is with the MOH and not with the agencies to continue our recruiting process,” Tenedu Ebenezer, the public relations officer of the concerned RCAC/RNAPs, informed Starr News.

The group has given the ministry a week to recruit them, after which significant picketing and subsequent demonstrations are expected.
