A group, Okyeman Youth has advised former president Mahama to retract and apologize for comments they believe is ethnocentric and tribalistic.

The group made this known during a press conference on Thursday, September 3, 2020.

Reacting to a Facebook post by Bolgatanga MP, Isaac Adongo and shared by Mr. Mahama, the youth expressed their disappointment at the former president for engaging in such divisive and shameful act.

“A stateman like him shouldn’t be engaging in such pettiness. This is our first warning, he should apologize to the three Akyem Kings and also to the whole Ghana. If he fails to do that, we’ll use other means to seek our redress”, they said.
