“Odious Hypocrisy At Its Apogee!” – Sammy Gyamfi Fires A Plus & Other Defendants Of Nana Addo’s Daughters

It has been an explosive past few days in the political terrain after Sammy Gyamfi’s exposé about “My Sister’s Keepers” foundation, an NGO spearheaded by daughters of President Akuffo-Addo.

His allegations has triggered a series of reactions with some NPP supporters also leveling some accusations against sons of former President Mahama.

However, Sammy Gyamfi has clapped back in a beautiful write up attributed to him on his Facebook page.

For the records, the GCB cheque to My Sister’s Keeper foundation is dated 22nd May, 2018 (22/05/18), the part with /18/ was not fully captured by the picture we shared, just like the part with the “financial controller” inscription was not fully captured.

Secondly, the GCB cheque/donation of an amount of GHS227,000 was given to My Sister’s Keepers at a time Ray Sowah, Uncle of Rebecca Akufo Addo was Managing Director of GCB.

These daughters of President Akufo Addo have through this foundation, which they incorporated just 6 months after their father became President, collected monies from several Public Institutions.

Public institutions are unable to say no to their requests for funds because of who their father is. The fact that their father is President, puts them in a position to extort monies from public institutions.

We have no means of knowing how much they have collected from Public Institutions since their incorporation in June 2017. And we have no means to ascertain wether those taxpayers monies have actually gone into what they were meant for.

My question to those defending this shameful act is, if Lordina Mahama or the Sons of John Mahama had engaged in this act between 2013-2016, what would they have said? Even when the Lordina foundation was doing charity works with privately-sourced resources, what did they say about her?

If they have a passion for charity and know how to raise funds for same, why didn’t they incorporate this foundation when their father was not President? Do you know how many foundations have been struggling for financial sponsorship from Public Institutions in this country but to no avail?

Odious hypocrisy at its apogee!

We now know that President Akufo Addo is a FAMILY BUILDER and John Mahama, a NATION BUILDER. Ghana needs THE NATION BUILDER.
