NSS Go Broke As Personnel Remain Unpaid for Over 3-months

Personnel involved in 2021-2022 National Service Sheme have being unpaid for the past three months.

According to some of the personnel who opted to remain anonymous, allowances from December 2021 to February 2022 have been unpaid forcing them to abandon their duty and remain home.

This situation amidst the ballooning cost of living due to ful price hikes and inflation, have made life quite difficult for some of the personnel.

The Akufo-Addo led government have been guilty of not paying NSS personnel on time although leaders of the cheme enjoy huge monthly bonuses and allowances.

The situstion remains the same and even worse for NABCo beneficiaries who recently demonstrated over unpaid allowances.

Although government have on several occasions assured of making payments very soon, nothing has changed.
