NPP Justifies Choice Of Widow As New Parliamentary Candidate In Mfantseman

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) through its General Secretary, John Boadu has explained why the party has selected widow of slain Mfantseman MP, Ekow Quansah Hayford as the new Parliamentary Candidate for the area.

She knows the constituency and is loved by many at the grassroots level says Mr. Boadu of Mrs. Ophelia Hayford in an interview on Joy FM.

Though not a politician, the NPP Chief Scribe stated that Mrs. Hayford’s nomination received the blessings at all levels in the party.

Meanwhile, Ophelia Hayford, an Assistant Superintendent of Police has since reportedly tendered in her resignation letter to the Police Service.
