NDC Is Just Helping Chief Justice Redeem His Image Over Bribery Allegations – Asiedu Nketia

General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia says the party only seeks to help Chief Justice, Kwesi Anin Yeboah redeem his image following bribery allegations against him.

This comes after one lawyer Afrifa claimed the Chief Justice 5million Us dollars from Ogyeedom Obranu Kwesi Atta IV in a bid to help him win a case brought against him at the GLC.

Reacting to it in a presser, Asiedu Nketia urged the Chief Justice to step aside, insisting he cannot be a judge in his own case.

“We [the NDC] want to help the Chief Justice to redeem his image.”

“We called the press to suggest ways the Chief Justice can use to clear himself. Probably someone wants to drag his name in the mud. We are rather helping him because the allegations are from someone and we don’t know who is telling the truth,” he added.
