More Than 80 NDC Supporters ‘Run Away’ To NPP In Kwesimintsim

Over 80 disappointed followers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kwesimintsim Zongo in the Western Region have switched camps to the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The disgruntled supporters made this known at a press conference on September 5, 2020.

The defectors revealed that their decision was influenced by the potential they see in the NPP’s MP aspirant for the Kwesimintsim Constituency, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, who was born in Kwesimintsim Zongo and grew up with some of them.

Theophilus Fiagbe, the convener for the defectors, said their defection was largely due to their disappointment in the NDC.
