A Senior Seismologist has predicted that Accra and its environs will experience more earth tremors and even earthquakes this year.
Nicholas Opoku, who is with the Geological Survey Authority revealed this on TV3’s New Day on Thursday, June 25, 2020.
According to Mr. Opoku, Accra could suffer more of these natural occurrences due to it earthquake-prone nature as a result of the presence of many active fault lines.
His prediction comes hours after some parts in Accra were rocked by multiple earth tremors on Wednesday night.
