Mahama Explains Why He’s Ditched Afia Schwar And Other Celebrities In 2020 Campaign

Former President John Dramani Mahama has given reasons why celebrities are missing in the NDC’s 2020 election campaign.

According to him, Ghanaians have not understood the roles these popular people play and as such tend to hate them when they get involved in politics.

He stated that he has seen how the involvement of these celebrities in politics has affected their careers in time past.

Mr. Mahama was of the believe that, it was therefore better to allow them enjoy their peace other than dragging them into politics which might result in dire consequences in the future.

He spoke on Starr FM with Francis Abban on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
