Deputy Minister of Information, Pius Enam Hadzide says the decision by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to legalize Okada business if elected into office shows the party lacks deep thinkers.

According to him, such a decision is only be based on impulse and not borne out of deep thinking.

Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ Morning Show, Pius Enam Hadzide said that the NDC under Mahama did no stakeholder consultation neither did it think of the consequences before coming up with the law to to make Okada operations illegal in the country.

“Did they think of the consequences before coming up with that law? What consultation went into the decision to come up with the law to ban the operations of Okada in the country? We are talking about a law that is just one election cycle old by former President Mahama,” he doubted.

He challenged the NDC to give Ghanaians tangible reasons why but for political sympathy, they want to legalize the Okada business if given the nod in the 2020 elections.
