Leave Mahama Alone, You’re The Biggest Liar – A Plus Fires Akuffo-Addo
Political activist and social commentator Kwame A Plus has once again laid into President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.
He wrote on Facebook in a reaction to a campaign video by the President;
“If one cannot go to the Presidency of Ghana with lies and fabrications why are you the president? Who has lied more than you Akufo Addo in Ghana?
“You said you were going to reduce ministers, you increased them. You said you were not going to run a family and friends government, that is the only truth you have told because you are not running a family and friends government, you are running a family government.
“Even your friends are crying. You said you’ll build one village one dam, you built one village one pothole. You said you’ll fight corruption but you are always fighting those who are citizen and not spectators and rather clear those who must be punished.
“Who has told more lies than you? You see how you are struggling? As president, you are campaigning as if you are in opposition trying to win an election.”

Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied – Akufo-Addo Lawyer Counters Tsikata
One of the lawyers of President Akufo-Addo in the ongoing election petition hearing has brushed aside claims by lead counsel for the petitioners in the Election Petition, Tsatsu Tsikata that the Supreme court should not sacrifice justice for expedition.
In his response to Mr Tsikata, he noted that justice delayed is justice denied.
Tsikata, had told the Supreme Court that much as the court may want to stick to the timelines specified in C.I 99 for the adjudication of election petitions, it should not be done in disregard of justice.
However, addressing the media after proceedings, Mr Frank Davies said “What is meant by sacrificing justice on the altar of expedition?
“Justice delayed is justice denied. So what is it? They are just not ready. They were advocating for a live broadcast of proceedings and now everybody is seeing what is happening in court. Everyday lead counsel for the petitioners is making one complaint or the other.
“You cannot blame the failure of a bad farm on your tools of implementation. Your farm is your farm and it depends on how you cultivate it so we should not ponder over this repeated rhetoric of sacrificing justice for expedition.”
