Late Mfantseman MP’s Wife Wins Husband’s Seat For NPP
Mrs. Ophelia Mensah Hayford who succeeded her late husband as Parliamentary candidate for Mfantseman Constituency in the Central Region has retained the seat for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Her late husband, Ekow Quansah Hayford was shot by armed robbers while returning from a campaign trip.
Mrs Ophelia Hayford according to reports surprisingly won in some strongholds of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
