Sad News: Mfantseman MP Killed By Gun Men

Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, in the Central Region, Ekow Quansah Hayford has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.

According to reports, the legislator was returning from a campaign trail when the gun men attacked his vehicle on the Abeadze Dominase–Abeadze Duadzi–Mankessim Road.

Reportt on Accra FM indicated that his vehicle tyre was shot before the unknown assailants were able to catch up. They then took their belongings and asked among the four persons seated in the car which of them was Ekow Quansah.

Upon introducing himself, they shot him dead and spared the rest.

His body  has since been deposited at the Saltpond Mortuary.
