Karma: How A Guy Paid By Ken Agyapong To Destroy Anas, Ended Up Destroying Akufo-Addo

Published

on

Karma is a belief that whatever you do will come back to you, either in this life or the next. It is embraced by followers of Buddhism, Hinduism and others around the world. For some, this is not only deeds, but thoughts and words as well. Many karma examples, both good and bad, can be seen in everyday life.

This phenomenon of Karma, at the moment, can best be used to describe the situation of maverick MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

Mr Agyapong was cited by veteran journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako on Wednesday as having ties to one Salis Yakubu Atsuluho, the journalist at the center of the viral video of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo receiving a brown envelope which the NDC allege contains $40,000.

The said video and its entire narrative have been disputed by the President’s camp who have also made available what they claim to be the original video that has been distorted by the said Salis Yakubu for mischievous purposes.

According to Veteran Journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, the same Salis Yakubu was the one who was paid by the Assin Central MP to distort videos that suggest that Anas Aremeyaw Anas is an extortionist who collects money from his victims.

Now it appears the loudmouth MP was not the only one paying Salis Yakubu to distort videos and embarass innocent persons.

Now that the attack has hit very close to him, the maverick MP is now threatening fire and brimstone on the same person he used to denigrate others in order to achieve whatever purpose he sought to achieve.

On TV yesterday, Mr Agyapong openly confessed all that the said Yakubu told him about Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

“He said a lot of things about Anas to me. He said he did some job for Anas in Ivory Coast and he was not paid. I will not say anything for now, but what that Yakubu guy did is worse than what Suale did. They were smart to murder the guy (Hussein-Suale) and accuse me of being behind it. I will not say anything for now until we finish the case. I will tell the world who that Yakubu guy. He is a very evil guy.” The lawmaker said.

Ken Agyapong’s antics now that his boss and flagbearer has been caught in the same trap he laid for Anas Aremeyaw Anas reminds of a popular saying that “what you put out will come back to you in unexpected ways”.

#FixTheCountry Campaign Is Just Politics As Usual – Obiri Boahene

Published

on

Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen says the ongoing fix the country protest is mere politics.

According to him, anyone who has followed politics for a longtime and understands the game will easily recognise that those behind the campaign are just doing politics.

Mr Obiri Boahen further claimed the persons behind the campaign were the same people who had been against many of government’s policies, including the new voters’ registration, free SHS, among others.

“For me, it’s just politics as usual because this same group of people were against most of government’s policies including the new voter registration exercise among others. Even the Free SHS and the creation of new regions were profusely rejected by these same people”, he said on Atinka FM.

It’s An Insult To The Ordinary Ghanaian To Say NDC Behind #FixTheCountry Protest – Ras Mubarak

Published

on

Former Kumbungu lawmaker, Ras Mubarak has slammed persons within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who continue to claim the fix the country campaign was triggered by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Ghanaians on social media, particularly, twitter have been demanding that government address the many social issues in the country using the hashtag #fixthecountry.

However, some members of the NPP including its National Chairman, Freddy Blay have said the NDC are the ones fueling the campaign.

In reaction, Ras Mubarak believes it’ll be an insult to the average Ghanaian who struggle to make ends meet under the NPP administration to attribute the campaign to NDC.

To him, the campaign is an indication that Ghanaians are fed up with the hardships under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo.

“NDC not behind it. The NDC was not the party that started this. This is a spontaneous reaction to bad governance so if they continue to disrespect Ghanaians in these terms, it might exacerbate,” he said on Asaase Radio’s The Bulletin Programme.

“In fact, to say that the NDC is behind it is insulting to the…farmer whose produce gets rotten because vehicles can’t come to his farms to cart the stuff that he produces,” he added.

NPP Finally Reinstates Kwabena Agyepong As Member

Published

on

The National Executive Council of the New Patriotic Party has reinstated former General Secretary, Mr. Kwabena Agyepong who had been suspended as a member of the party for about six years.

This decision was made by the NPP after Mr Agyepong wrote to the Executive Council, pleading with them to reconsider their decision to suspend him.

Mr Kwabena Agyepong, together with then party chairman, Paul Afoko, and National Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe were suspended in the run-up to the 2016 elections on claims of working against party interest.

Of all the three who were suspended, Mr Kwabena Agyepong is clearly the one who has demonstrated utmost commitment to the cause of the Party as he was seen campaigning for the Party in the 2020 elections.

There have been rumours that President Akufo-Addo intends to appoint Mr Agyepong into his government.
