A tribute by the monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II to the memory of the late mother of Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia has ignited excitement among the second gentleman’s supporters.

The Asantehene paid a moving tribute to the memory of the late Hajia Mariama Bawumia, late mother of the Vice President.

The fifth paragraph of the Asantehene’s tribute implied that it’s sad Hajia Mariama will not be alive to witness what the future holds for her son.

Many Bawumia supporters have interpreted this to mean that the Asantehene has indirectly made a favorable prophetic declaration towards the Vice President’s flagbearership ambition.
