If You Deserve Beatings, You Must Be Beaten – NPP’s Saka Salia To #Fixthecountry Protesters

Saka Salia, a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party’s communications team has defended the actions of the police with members of the #fixthecountry movement at the Accra High Court yesterday.

The police had clashed with the protestors prevented them from entering the promises while video footages showed phones of some protestors being smashed by the police.

Reacting to it on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben Show’, Saka Salia backed the police’s actions.

“The court has a certain number of people it can admit. And at least this group was informed of the number to represent them. If you are genuine, one person can represent you. But they wanted the whole world to know that the police was beating them. But if you deserve to be beaten, you have to be beaten”.
