Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has denied that she had anything to do with the NDC prior to the 2012 Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) presidential debate.

This comes after Education Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh claimed Naana Jane, who was a moderator for the debate, leaked questions to then President John Dramani Mahama in exchange for a ministerial position.

Reacting to it on Citi TV, Naana Jane stated that she was not a key member of the NDC back then, insisting she’ll never sell her reputation in exchange for a position.

She further noted that she had no hand in setting the questions, moreover, the aspirants were only there to explain why they want to be president.

“I was not invited to that debate by the NDC. Far from it. I was invited to that debate because somebody thought I would be fair and I liked that fairness,” she told Citi TV.
