Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo has finally returned to the country after almost a year of living abroad at the expense of her parliamentary duties.
The lawmaker was spotted at a Presbyterian Church in her constituency yesterday, flanked by some of her family members as she gave thanks to the Almighty for protecting her life and that of her family.
Madam Adwoa Safo admitted that the year 2021 was a really challenging one for her and she cannot help but be grateful to God for His mercies.
The lawmaker, according to popular reports, disagreed with the President’s decision to reappoint the head of the school feeding programme after she (Adwoa Safo) terminated her appointment.
This, according to the reports, is what accounted for the MP’s decision to abandon the work of Parliament and settle overseas against the persistent pleas of her caucus leadership and even the President himself.
