We Don’t Consider Adwoa Safo Part of Majority in Parliament – Joe Wise

Joe Osei Wusu (Joe Wise), the first deputy speaker of Parliament has said the Majority side of the house do not count lawmaker for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo as one of them.

His comment follows Adwoa Safo’s long absence from Parliament despite efforts by the Majority side to get her to return to strengthen their numbers in approving the Electronic Transaction bill.

Speaking in an interview on Pure FM, Joe Wise who doubles as legislator for Bekwai in the Ashanti region said the NPP Majority are not counting on Adwoa Safo to add up to their numbers.

He however noted that it’ll be a good thing if she returns to join them in the house but they do not include her in mapping out their strategies to get government business going in Parliament.
