Ghana’s total Covid-19 cases has risen to 12, 193 with recoveries now 4,326 as at Tuesday morning, June 16, 2020.
This is as a result of the confirmation of 229 new cases from nine different regions according to Dr. Patrick Kumah-Aboagye, Director-General of Ghana Health Service.
Four new deaths have been confirmed taking the total Covid-19 related deaths to 58.
On the issue of massaging of figures as raised by pressure group OccupyGhana, Dr. Patrick Kumah-Aboagye at the press briefing indicated that the government does not manipulate the Covid-19 data.
He explained that all figures reported at the national level are generated at the local level with authentication at the national level.
