Fix The Country Convenor Still On Hunger Strike 10 Days After Arrest

Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawa Mogtari has claimed that Fix The Country Convenor, Oliver Barker Vormawor has refused to rescind his hunger strike.

According to Madam Mogtari, she has learned from credible sources that Mr. Vormawor is still refusing to eat, 10 days after his arrest.

Madam Mogtari though expressed concern about the hunger strike, insisting that for good health sake, the activist should consider eating.

Mr. Vormawor was arrested at the Kotoka International Airport when he arrived in the country from the UK after he had made some pronouncements on social media which were deemed to be seditious.

He was put before court and charged with treason felony, and remanded into custody.
