China Worried About Ghana’s 1D1F – Gabby Otchere-Darko

NPP stalwart, Gabby Otchere-Darko says China is harbouring major concerns about the setting up of factories in Ghana.

According to him, the Asian superpower which is one of the major exporters of goods to Ghana seems worried about the government’s 1D1F initiative.

Sharing a story on twitter, Mr. Otchere-Darko revealed that a Chinese industrialist made the confession of their worry to him in a meeting.

“I met a Chinese industrialist who confessed that the setting up of factories in Ghana is causing some concerns in China—a major exporter of manufactured goods to Ghana. My response was simple: “No worries. The Chinese are free and welcome to come and set up factories in Ghana,” Gabby wrote.
