Akufo-Addo’s Economic Management Non-existent – PV Jantuah

P.V. Jantuah Boateng Dadson, a former presidential staffer under John Dramani Mahama says the Economic Management team of the President Akufo-Addo administration only exists in name.

PV Jantuah wondered how the so-called Economic management team will lead the IMF negotiations when they have completely let the country down.

He doesn’t believe the team can engage the IMF properly because they have already failed.

‘‘The economic management team has failed this gov’t, why are they leading an IMF engagement, they have failed. Look, they exist in name, not in function. Take it from me, the economic management team of Nana Addo, they don’t exist at all’’ 

‘‘ How can you tell me Bawumia is the chairman of the government’s economic management team and he is not part of strategic meetings, do you remember the government 40-member team without Bawumia and you expect this team to engage the IMF properly.’’ hell no, he was reported by mynewsgh.

The government of Ghana is currently engaging the IMF on a possible bailout due to economic strains.

Meanwhile media reports suggest the earliest the IMF can help Ghana will be 2023.
