2024 Polls: NDC Polling Agents To Wear Bulletproof Vests And Carry Guns At Collation Centres – Afriyie Ankrah

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) are making efforts to arm its polling agents with bulletproof vests and guns at the various collation centres during the 2024 elections.

According to the party’s director of elections, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, lessons learnt from the 2020 polls have put the NDC on high alert and are willing to go the extreme to protect their votes in 2024.

He insisted that events at Techiman South during the 2020 elections will not be allowed to repeat itself again in 2024.

Meanwhile the 2020 flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama has declared the 2024 polls a do or die affair.

He said the NDC will ensure it claims its victory right from the polling stations.
