2 Seating NPP MPs Allegedly Working Against The Party To Win The 2020 Elections After Their Defeat In The Primaries

The Ashanti Regional Leadership of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) has lamented on the conduct of two incumbent Member of Parliaments(MPs) of the party whom they alleged are working against the NPP in winning the 2020 December  Elections.

The two MPs, Hon. Atwima Kwanwoma, MP for Manhyia North and Hon. Kojo Appiah Kubi, MP for Atwima Kwanwoma  are said to have been defeated in the recent parliamentary elections held by the NPP.

Kwabena Nsenkyere, the Ashanti Regional First Vice Chairman of the NPP disclosed that, the two have not been supportive in the party’s quest to win the elections apparently because they lost in the parliamentary primaries.

“I have been to Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency and Manhyia North and what I observed was that, the two MPs there are not cooperating with their Constituency Executives in the exercise”, the First Regional Vice Chairman claimed.

“We’ll urge them to come on board or else they should be prepared to face our wrath” Mr. Kwabena Nsenkyere added.
