You’re Not A Matured Politician To Lead NPP – Kennedy Agyapong Told

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has been described as someone who hasn’t matured in politics by seasoned lawyer, Maurice Ampaw.

The celebrated lawyer stated on Wontumi TV that certain comments which were made by the legislator against Mr. John Boadu whilst the latter was in office as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) General Secretary, were unnecessary and could only come from an immature politician.

Shortly after Mr. John Boadu lost his position, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong was caught on tape bastardizing his party regional chairmen who had openly supported and called for Mr. Boadu to be maintained.

It is on this note that lawyer Ampaw scolded him for granting the interview and noted that in his view, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong “is not matured in politics” let alone, lead the NPP as a Presidential candidate.

He indicated that Mr. Agyapong has been threatening and accusing Mr. John Boadu of not “picking phone calls” and sitting at the party’s office hence his decision to form an alliance to kick him out as General Secretary.

However Mr. Ampaw stated that it is also public record that Hon. Agyapong doesn’t attend or go to Parliament and has been hauled before the privileges committee to explain his constant absence from the house.
