You’re A Disgrace For Sitting On A Married Man’s Laps – Akandoh Slams Ursula

Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Member of Parliament on whose lap Ursula Owusu-Ekuful sat during the chaotic scenes in Parliament prior to the Speakership election has slammed her for refusing to do what was expected of her as a married woman.

Describing her action as disgraceful, Akandoh wondered why a married woman like Ursula would find comfort on another married man’s laps in the full glare of the cameras.

Commenting on why he refused to shove her away, he noted that the story would have been different if he pushed her, therefore he opted to make her be till she got up herself.

“If I had applied any force, today, the story would have been different so I had to behave myself and allow her until she got up herself. It was disgraceful right. A married woman sitting on the lap of someone’s husband. My wife did not take it easy. She thought she [Ursula] shouldn’t have done that”, Akandoh told JoyNews.
